In honor of Pittsburgh’s 250th anniversary and Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild 40th Anniversary, MCG Jazz and UPMC are proud to present one incredible night with Ivan Lins and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, with guest performances by two-time Grammy winning vocal group New York Voices and trumpet virtuoso Sean Jones.

This gala event takes place on November 14, 2008 at Heinz Hall and highlights the rich musical history of Pittsburgh through the compositions of some of our most notable native sons such as Stephen Foster, Henry Mancini and Billy Strayhorn.

Brazilian jazz artist Ivan Lins delivers his own exotic blend of romantic ballads and sultry Latin tunes including a tribute to Brazilian jazz legend Antonio Carlos Jobim.
